The Team at A Better Home

Remodeling or building a new home can be an exciting but emotional time. Our design-build process allows our clients to complete their project under one roof, saving time, money, and a lot of headaches. A Better Home acts as the lead contractor, utilizing an excellent network of sub-contractors to take your project from concept to completion.

Step #1: In-Home Consultation

We offer a free, in-home consultation where we meet with you to discuss your ideas and explore options. We’ll discuss the issues you are trying to address and learn what you’re hoping to achieve. We take measurements and photos of the areas of your home you are looking to renovate to determine the project scope. We want your remodeling project to be personal and it is our goal to work with your budget to create the living space you’ve been dreaming about. We set up our initial design meeting a couple weeks after the in-home consultation.

Step #2: Design Process

You may meet with our design team several times during the design process as we continue to fine-tune the scope of your project. We’ll prepare floor plans, elevations, and 3D drawings of your project for your review. At this point we can give you cost projections, establish a budget, and explore financing options. After developing a final design, our subcontractors will come out and visit your home. This process gives us the ability to give you an accurate estimate of what your project will cost.

And now the fun part!- You’ll work with our designer to select products and finishes that will be used in your project. Concepts that started out as ideas are now starting to emerge as images of the completed project!

Step #3: Build

Our highly skilled team of craftsmen make sure your project turns out just the way you imagined. While working in your home, we take every possible measure to be as unobtrusive and respectful as possible. Communication is important. We keep you informed of the project’s progress and continue working with you until the very last details have been finished. Throughout the entire project, we pay great attention to our quality of work. Rest assured, your home will be finished to perfection.
